About Bronxville

Bronxville village proper is situated immediately to the east of Bronxville PO, just over the Bronx River, and encompasses an area of 1 square mile. Originally settled during the early part of the 18th Century, the village was formally incorporated in 1898. During the mid-Victorian era, Bronxville was renown as an art colony and is one of the first planned communities in the country. With a median household income over 3 times the national average, Bronxville is one of America's most affluent suburbs.
